In this position you will supervise a team of Adjudicators responsible for assessing clients’ status in relation to program legislation and/or guidelines. The role works for a program that determines client status in relation to government programs, legislation and regulations.?As the Team Lead, you will?supervise a work unit responsible for assessing and approving non-routine cases.??As an?effective supervisor, you serve as a positive role model for your team, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment and ensuring timely service delivery.? In addition to leading?your team,?in this role you will also analyze?current systems and work processes to problem solve and determine improvements?that address issues and improve efficiency of processing and make recommendations for resolution.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Grade 12 graduation or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience providing client service in an administrative environment.
  • Experience interpreting, applying and making complex decisions regarding legislation, regulations and/or policies.
  • 1 year recent (within the past 5 years) experience supervising a group of staff, including activities such as performance planning/management, attendance/leave management, directing work, etc. (preference may be given for supervising 5 or more staff).

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Diploma, Certificate or higher in a related field.
  • Experience with electronic case/file management systems and applications (i.e. ICM, or other).
  • Course in human resources (i.e. labour relations, performance management, etc).
